Even Out Strings

Making the thickness of the strings even is necessary. This is an easy way to even out goat or horse strings. A cilinder with a grit 80 sandpaper is mounted on a bench drill. Then a piece of wood is fixed to the table of the drill. A groove in the wood regulates the final thickness of the string.
